Soft and silky, this grappa is derived from the pomace of one of Tuscany's great wines.  It has more grape varieties than you have soldiers to manage; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The combination is intensely aromatic. This grappa is aged for at least three years in Ornellaia barrique.

To ensure consisent quality and additional depth of flavour each vintage is blended with older vintage reserves, the same way young soldiers need to be shown the ropes by their elders. That's where the comparison ends, no way some young scostumato is going to get a taste of this!
